My experience and expertise applies to all types of projects. I work on both smaller residential and renovation work and on larger new construction projects. I focus on interiors of every project from space planning to specification of finshes, furnishings and equipment, and I can work in tandem with architectural and engineering teams to have drawings reviewed as necessary for permitting and construction.
Double W Design is based in my hometown of Houston, Texas but I am currently working on projects in Wyoming as well. I enjoy the diversity and learning opportunities offered by working in communities other than my own.

My mission is to create beautiful, livable spaces that meet the aesthetic, functional, and economic goals of each client.
My approach is flexible and responsive. I work with some clients who know exactly what they want and I help them achieve it. Others are less sure and I guide them through the design process, helping them to formulate their own aesthetic as I work with them.
My network of collaborating professionals, includes architects, builders, vendors, and artists who share my vision.
Kacie W. Wasserman
Associate IIDA + NEWH
I am a native Houstonian and a dedicated student of the arts. I have continuously studied the fine arts from childhood all the way through the university level. I hold both a B.F.A. in Art History from The University of Houston, as well as a B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston. I established Double W Design with my extensive knowledge and a diversified skill set from my previous experiences working in the residential, hospitality and healthcare areas of the architecture & design industry. My background as an art educator an invitation & event designer also contribute to my unique design sensibilities. I am an active member of both professional organizations IIDA and NEWH and am currently working towards earning my NCIDQ certificate. I live in the heart of Houston with my husband Jason, daugher Zoey, son Zeno, and our two dogs, Bonnie Bell and Bucky.
